Lukas Fabianski

Our best goalkeeper since Phil Parkes deserves his own thread.
Looks like an unbelievable bit of business so far, and our best player this season up till now. No doubt this will curse him, but he just looks so composed, and doesn't make stupid mistakes.
Played, FLAPPIANSKI son. Maybe FIST-PUMP to the crowd, that's what earns respect at West Ham, not your keeping skills.

Phil Parkes is still top of my goalkeeper list followed by Ludo.
Early days for Fabianski but he's certainly MOTM today.

You’re either hot or or you’re not on this site. He’s done well though although his kicking is horrendous.

Fabianski comes out and catches crosses.
Adrian shits himself on the goal line.
Hope that helps anyone who hasn’t got a fucking clue.

Yeah, if it was up to West Ham fans we’d have Adrian and Collins in the side still.

That late shot from Barkley that he clawed out from the bottom left hand corner ..... they must have thought Joe Hart was still there. That would have been in last season.

His distribution is generally good too. Today he was hitting it long more but he is decent with his feet wbich is probably why the likes of Arsenal and Swansea liked him. I thought he was overpriced for his age but Ive changed my mind - especially after tbe silly sums paid by other clubs for keepers. Hope he keeps it up. Been a while since a keeper was HOTY.

Our most consistent player in the opening six league games. No ifs and buts about it.

Outstanding goalkeeper and miles better than Adrian, although that was never in doubt for anyone with half a clue.
Saved us the point on many times today, wouldn’t complain if he’d got MOTM - keep it up Fabianski you’ll soon become a legend in these parts.

He does deserve the recognition.
I personally fee he would have a case for being named man of the match for us in every game of the season so far. The fact he got his clean sheet today was well deserved as he has been first class, made some crucial saves and as others have mentioned his commanding at corners, free kicks is excellent.
He doesn't fuck around with it does things simple but effectively well. Great, great signing, easily our best signing of the summer so far.

To be honest, a keeper's distribution isn’t anything like as important as whether he commands the 6 yard box, or whether he’s a good shot stopper,
It’s like saying something attempting to look clever, but talking like a cunt
